National Vietnam War Museum—The war museum was developed in hopes that it would create a space for younger generations to learn about the Vietnam War era and engage people from all walks of life.

Doss Heritage and Culture Center—The Doss Heritage and Culture Center was formed in 2006 as a place for all to visit and enjoy the history and culture of Parker County.

Museum of the Americas—By displaying artifacts from the 19th and 20th centuries, the Museum of the Americas educates its visitors on the diverse heritage of America’s native people.

Aledo Independent School District – Located in both Parker and Tarrant Counties, Aledo is a fast-growing district that educates more than 6,000 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Brock Independent School District – Covering 105 square miles, Brock ISD serves nearly 1,500 students and is proud to have a tradition of success in both academics and extra-curricular activities.

Garner Independent School District – Covering 50 square miles between Weatherford and Mineral Wells, Garner ISD is a small district of 200 students and only offers classes for children PK – 8th grade in a single building. In 2019, a vote was passed to open up a second school and expand grades into high school.

Millsap Independent School District – While Millsap may be a small district of fewer than 1,000 students, the staff and faculty work to educate and prepare the students for lifelong success.

Peaster Independent School District – With a district of nearly 1,200 students, PISD works to provide every student the opportunity to reach their maximum potential.

Poolville Independent School District – Poolville ISD is a small district located in Parker County and is part of Wise County. It educates more than 500 students every year.

Springtown Independent School District – Home of the Fighting Porcupines, Springtown ISD educates more than 3,500 students every year and is proud to have been included on the list of Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation.

Weatherford Independent School District – Weatherford ISD is the largest school district in Parker County. It serves more than 8,000 students each year. By continuously looking for ways to improve, it has a near-perfect graduation rate of 99.7%.
